The keck clips are for securing the titanium/quartz tip and the extended mouthpiece tightly on the body of the nectar collector/dab straw kits.
When heating the titanium tip/quartz tip of the nectar collector, you must make sure that the tip is secured by the keck clip, if the red-hot tip(sometimes higher than 500°F) drops onto your lap you’re going to have a very bad day.
